Yesterday, the energy at our Pitman Day Program was electric! What started as a simple Phillies Pep Rally turned into a day filled with laughter, cheering, and team spirit that could rival any ballpark in Philadelphia.
The room was decked out in red and white, with pom poms, and Phillies décor filling every corner. Tables overflowed with snacks and treats, and the smell of good food mingled with the sound of excitement. But what made the day truly special wasn’t the decorations or the food — it was the joy that radiated from every person there.
In true Heart to Heart fashion, our participants didn’t just watch the fun — they were the fun. One by one, individuals ran through two lines of cheering friends and staff, just like the Phillies running onto the field before a big game. The room erupted with applause, laughter, and heartfelt encouragement. Each person was celebrated for exactly who they are — and for that moment, everyone felt like part of the team.
