Unfortunately, no. However, Heart to Heart has systems in place to appropriately manage and designate Social Security funds, ensuring they are used entirely for the care of the individual. We prioritize compliance with Social Security and Medicaid regulations, with a strong focus on maintaining Medicaid enrollment.
No, everyone has their own space. Each resident enjoys the privacy and comfort of their own bedroom.
While it is not mandatory, we highly encourage all residents to participate in a day program, prevocational training, or competitive employment in the community. We believe that engaging in these activities enriches the lives of our residents and supports their personal growth.
There is no standardized staff-to-resident ratio. The number of staff in a group home is determined by the specific needs of the individuals living there.
Yes, Heart to Heart offers 28 beds in supervised apartment programs, providing additional support and independence.
Our programs are designed to support the continuum of care, allowing individuals to progress and grow within our services. We work closely with each resident to ensure their personal development is supported every step of the way.
Our group homes are licensed by the Department of Human Services and are directly overseen by state licensing entities. We are also accredited by the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL), which has its own set of rigorous standards to ensure the highest quality of care.
Yes, we offer open visitation at any time. We do ask that you call ahead to ensure the best experience for both you and your loved one.
